Resume

I did my Bachelors and Masters at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research(IISER), Berhampur, India in the lab of Vinay Bulusu. I worked on chicken embryo deciphering the role of glycolytic gradient in the posterior axis development.

Research

I work under the umbrella of MyoNeuro ALP network, revealing how the muscles are diversified in the amniotes. The posterior axis progenitors (NMPs) leads to formation of the mesodermal and neural cells. These two lineages develop parallelly to eventually give rise to coordinated neuromuscular system. However the cellular mechanism leading to this diversity is still unclear. How do these cells give rise to diversity of muscles and neural cells?
