This platform is located in the CRBC (4th floor), next to medical school. It performs histological analyses on animal and plant tissue samples. The platform was established through financial support from Blaise Pascal University, the European Union (FEDER), the Auvergne regional council, La ligue Contre le Cancer and Canceropôle Lyon Auvergne Rhône Alpes (CLARA)

The platform is equipped with :

  •  STP 120 (Microm) tissue processor for dehydration and paraffin inclusion
  •  EC 350 (Microm) tissue embedding console system to embed tissues in paraffin blocks
  •  Two HM 340E (Microm) microtomes
  • HM 560 (Microm) cryostat
  • Myreva SS30 (Microm) automatic slide stainer for dewaxing and HE /TMG staining
  • InSitu Pro VSI (Intavis) for automated hybridization in situ and immunohistochemistry  on whole-mount tissues or slides
  • AxioscanZ1 (Zeiss) slide scanner for fluorescence and brightfield
  • AxioImager M2 (Zeiss) microscope with Apotome for fluorescence and brightfield
  •  AxioObserver 7 (Zeiss) microscope for fluorescence and brightfield with CO2 and temperature-controlled incubation chamber
  • MZ7.5 (Leica) stereomicroscopes with 12Mpixels color camera
  • X-Clarity (Logos Biosystem) electrophoresis tissue clearing system
  •   HybEZ oven (ACD) for RNAscopeTM
