About
The iGReD is a Research Center at Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne Rhône Alpes region of France. Created in 2008, the iGReD is supported by the University Clermont Auvergne (UCA), the CNRS (UMR6293) and the INSERM (U1103). The center is composed of 15 research groups (totalling 165 people in December 2022) based at the Centre de Recherche Bio-Clinique (CRBC) on the campus of the Faculty of Medecine.
The biological questions posed by the iGReD research labs aim at understanding the genetic and epigenetic programs leading to development and reproduction, and how their deregulation can result in disease. The name of the center comes from these research themes: Genetics, Reproduction and Development
